In Tree of Savior, each attack has assigned properties that are effective or ineffective against other properties. There are two types of attack x defense properties being Elemental Properties, common for magic skills, and Weapon and Armor Properties, used in most physical skills.
Elemental Properties[]
Each monster has a defensive elemental property, which affects the damage of certain elements used against it. For example, Ice property attacks are more effective against Fire property monsters. Despite being part of a closed system, it is possible to split elemental properties in two groups as some properties don't interact.

Weapon and Armor Properties[]
Also known as physical properties. Monsters and player characters have an armor property assigned to them, which affects the damage of certain physical type of damage used against them. A monster's armor property is fixed, while a player's armor property is determined by their equipped top armor and the amount of armor pieces equipped. Skills will always ignore the equipped weapon property.

Tips and Strategies[]
- Elemental Essence increases the bonus damage from elemental properties.
- Demon Lord Mirtis Card reduces the penalty from elemental properties.
Trivia[]
- Poison is currently the only elemental property with no weakness.
- It is rare, but some monsters don't have elemental property. They have the following icon .
- Elemental properties are mostly a magical oriented trait. However, they are used on a few physical skills from Scout classes. In addition to that, it is also factored on all skills and attacks through property attack.
- Psychokinesis is the only elemental property that wasn't present in the game on its launch. It's believed the main goal was to promote Psychokino and give it some advantage over single element wizards.
- Banshee Veil is the the only known Ghost property equipment in game. However, no single player was able to get one. It's likely that the idea was dropped and the item made it in the game as a leftover. As such, it may never be available for use.
- Originally Missile damage was a single physical property. It was later split into Missile - Bow, Missile - Gun and Missile - Cannon in order to give Archer classes more attack variance.
