Recently, Wikia has announced the rollout of the new Discussions feature that will replace the current Special:Forum feature. As Discussions is a Reddit/Twitter hybrid that does not function in any way or form like a forum, nor does it utilize wikitext like the current Special:Forum, we will likely be changing how we utilize this space on the wiki.

For now, we will continue to use Special:Forum and monitor how things progress with the rollout of Discussions. If our forums are converted and Discussions is still missing functions that the Special:Forum has, then we will start utilizing the Blogs feature instead for news and wiki discussions. As far as I'm aware, most of the threads here don't seem to be very active so I don't think they will be missed when we deactivate Discussions.
